How the days unfold

  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Srinagar · Airport pickup and check-in. Shikara ride on Dal Lake, the floating market and Char Chinari, then the evening by the lake. Overnight in Srinagar.

  2. Day 2

    Srinagar sightseeing · The Tulip Garden at the foot of the Zabarwan range (open roughly late March to April), or the Mughal gardens outside tulip season. Evening in the Dal Lake markets.

  3. Day 3

    Doodhpathri day trip · Meadows and cold streams of Doodhpathri, with Tosamaidan to the west. Aharbal waterfall can be swapped in on request. Back to Srinagar.

  4. Day 4

    Srinagar – Sonamarg · Drive along the Sindh river to Sonamarg. Ponies to Thajiwas Glacier, Zero Point by union taxi. Overnight in Sonamarg.

  5. Day 5

    Sonamarg – Srinagar · Easy morning in Sonamarg, then back to Srinagar for Nishat Bagh, Chashme Shahi, Pari Mahal, Shankaracharya hill and Hazratbal. Tonight on a houseboat on Nigeen Lake.

  6. Day 6

    Srinagar – Pahalgam · Via the Pampore saffron fields, Avantipora temple, bat workshops and apple orchards. Overnight in Pahalgam.

  7. Day 7

    Pahalgam sightseeing · Aru, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari by union taxi, Mamleshwar temple, the golf course or a pony to Baisaran. Evening in Pahalgam market.

  8. Day 8

    Pahalgam – Gulmarg · Morning in Pahalgam, then a long scenic drive to Gulmarg. Overnight in Gulmarg.

  9. Day 9

    Gulmarg – Srinagar · Gondola both phases (included) up towards Kongdori and Apharwat, plus ATV or skiing in season. Afternoon drive back to Srinagar. Overnight in Srinagar.

  10. Day 10

    Departure · Breakfast and drop at Srinagar Airport.

The full valley at a comfortable pace. Instead of day-tripping everywhere from Srinagar, you actually sleep in Sonamarg and Gulmarg, so you see both early in the morning before the crowds arrive.

Winter season inclusions note (2026–27)

This package is priced for the snow season on a MAP basis (daily breakfast & dinner) with 3-star (or equivalent) stays unless you upgrade in writing. In Gulmarg, we plan around the cable car (Gondola), snow play, and — on request — snowmobile, sledging, or beginner ski hire (activity fees usually payable on ground unless your written quote adds them).

Union cabs / local union taxis are NOT included at Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Pahalgam, or other sightseeing zones. Your package covers the KTC private tour vehicle for airport transfers and inter-town drives as per itinerary. Local union segments, snow-chain cabs (Tangmarg–Gulmarg in heavy snow), ponies, and adventure tickets are extras unless confirmed in writing.
